KEARIFAN LOKAL SUKU BADUY PADA PEMBELAJARAN IPS UNTUK MENUMBUHKAN KARAKTER TOLERANSI PESERTA DIDIK

The process of developing students' character can be carried out by teachers through the learning process, namely by incorporating local wisdom into social studies (IPS) learning. This study aims to integrate local wisdom into IPS learning to foster students' tolerance character. This research is quantitative, with the research subjects being 30 fourth-grade students. The trial in this study was conducted in two stages: the first stage was carried out to obtain initial data (pretest), and the second stage was conducted to obtain data on the growth of students' tolerance character (post-test). Based on the research results, the initial data (pretest) obtained an average score of 69.6428, while the average score (post-test) was 81.5625. Based on the research findings, it can be concluded that IPS learning based on the local wisdom values of the Baduy Tribe can foster students' tolerance character.
